Correcting Misinformation on the Latest Memo
Jane Sosi
Never in my six years working as a real estate agent would I provide any false income statement. The sublet application I presented was a 34 year old girl who owned a very successful hair salon in the West Village at 77 Perry St. The applicant had perfect credit, and made $40k over the amount to qualify. Sasha accused her accountant letter of being fake but never took the time to call the accountant. He also requested that I stay in the meeting when I originally got up to recuse myself. Why would I recommend an unqualified tenant to my client? Once the application was rejected, the board also revoked my clients’, a resident of 25 years who just was moved into a hospital, sublet privileges unanimously forcing her to sell. In return, she threatened to sue for discrimination.
Stocks for the reserve fund was a suggestion week one, nothing was mentioned again. However, I do believe we should invest some money back into our building instead of completely neglecting it.
Regarding hiring Jason, you should know he has never signed a contract with CMS- this could have easily been negotiated. The real mismanagement was that we had no super for an entire year and half allowing strangers to come in and out of our building every weekend.
The tenant in our building who was my neighbor told me she voted for me after receiving a proxy from Hoffman. This tenant was unaware her vote did not count. Never once did I persuade her vote.
DID YOU KNOW: It took Hoffman 5 months to inspect mold from the 6th floor flood? Due to this, mold has now spread to two neighboring apartments putting residents at health risks.
